My dent was worse “right on the corner” and I had the PDR guy that does all the local dealerships do it for $50. Took him 45 minutes. He said normally it would be about $90 but he hooked me up. I am located in north TX and we get hail quite a bit so our PDR guys are probably much cheaper and I’m guessing the better guys here have more skill because of all the work thats around. This guy looks like he takes his time and does a really good job and that comes with a fee.

Alex Monfort says:

LOL! Blair’s keychain… Same thing I have on my Gixxer keys.

BTW, Nice job on the dent removal, can’t tell there was ever one.

SUZUKlRlDER says:

$225 that’s cool. Body shop charged me $35 to pop my small dent out, and only took him 15 minutes.

I dropped my 2012 R1 tonight outside of my house and it has about a skinny 3 to 4 inch long dent from hitting a patio chair. Paint only has a scuff from sliding on the chair. I wish I lived near this place.

florest iner says:

Ive got a fucked up spare tank to practice on before i get into my good tank so i think ill just figure it out for $225

florest iner says:

its pretty straight forward and similar on all sport bikes. theres probably a couple bolts at the front near the bars that you’ll nee to undo. then theres gonna be a long bolt that the tank pivots on on the opposite side. undo that next and just unplug the gas line etc and itll be off. Just do it man you’ll figure it out. taking off a tank isnt high risk or complicated. if u have trouble just look it up.

marque cox says:

Do you have any videos on how to remove a gas tank. I have a 2004 Suzuki GSXR 750 and I need to remove the tank but not sure exactly how to do that.

Rafael Michel says:

I understand denttime. If you where to charge 100 bucks (60 for multiple) for that work you did there, which is great, you would have more customers. Yes, complex as you say, but your not doing surgery. 100 hundred bucks an hour is something to be proud of. As always, your trade skill will become common and you will have to re-evaluate your fees. I do know the history of this trade your in. It originated from Germany and it too had it’s empire at one time.

markuzh says:

i had to try myself. There’s not much to lose anymore :-D

Cody Rosa says:

What is that black/white thing for? To see the dents??

Dirk Sellsted says:

I wish you were in calgary alberta. I got a small dent and to get it fixed like you do is going to be $300+ easily but below $550. Replacement tank $800 then I’d need to install it myself, or pay another $120 for someone else to.

jaguarfanster says:

Dr. Damon Chiropractor….yep right

Brian Jump says:

Man all these haters / neg comments. I personally prefer not to do Motorcycles as the paint is normally not as sound as vehicle paint.

lessdeth69 says:

Awesome job! Good value really.

conchim99 says:

hire a homeless guy the next day stop by his office and hit it with a hammer, now what i call: Job security for dent removal experts 🙂

oflow100 says:

do you have people in Los Angeles?

Ric C says:

I would not paint a tank with a $15 can of Tremclad for less than $200.

noxious89123 says:

Why would he do himself out of a job?!

noxious89123 says:

The size of the dent isn’t really relevant though, is it? It’s the time taken and skill required to do the job. And it’s a lot cheaper than a new tank!

Gunsmithpro says:

Could you make us a “How-To Video” for us that are wishing to learn this process? Covering the tools and the whole procedure? You would prob be an excellent teacher. You make impressive videos already.

Gunsmithpro says:

So why do you have so many “Author withheld” comments? Did you get an angry customer?

Traci Dick says:

Your wrong asshole. Im not getting flooded with spam. He dose PDR. He also dose painting. He has done it for many years. More than 30 I would say. He has done it professionally for 16+. You are a fool. You maybe High Quality, but you are a asshole. Simply put… You Suck. We also do Powder coating on metal parts, such as rims, motorcycle frames and parts, metal furniture (patio and lawn) or any metal parts in general.

denttime says:

They do if it costs more to replace and don’t want to repaint. So lets call you out on that? You will offer paintless dent removal? No repainting, all done without sanding or repainting? Have a website? Have any videos? Yeah, that’s what I thought. Because my customers can afford high quality. Not some person who puts “cheap” before quality. Keep selling cost. I’ll sell excellence and quality and work smarter not harder.

Traci Dick says:

It is a lining board. It gives you a clearer picture of the dent. It helps you see the dent better in the reflection of the clear coat. Don’t pay this guy for his service, he is way too expensive. You can get this job done elsewhere for way cheaper. I know because I had it done.

quadcatfly says:

what was that magnet based light/mirror?

frankywray says:

Very nice job! and to those complaining about the price, why are you whinging? If its too expensive then go elsewhere 🙂 i’m guessing the stick on curvy liner thing shows you when the dent is completely removed :-)

bedatr says:

Its a great work 🙂

IgWannA2 says:

I have a large dent in my tank, about 4 inches across and maybe 3/4 inch deep. Is that too big for PDR to work? Also, what is that thing he hangs on the bike? A heater?

Neatus Garage Studios says:

Good job….i don’t think people realize how hard doing stuff like this is. Looks perfect.

Russell DiVittorio says:

I am very impressed.

LiveToRide says:

lol yeah i know i couldnt do it but i bet i wouldn’t do the worst job in the world

denttime says:

Can’t wait to see your results. Just keep in mind, when people are good at what they do.. they make their craft APPEAR easier then it really is. So good luck. 🙂

LiveToRide says:

meh after watching your video i can do this myself. seems easy

mike murphy says:

There are throngs of guys doing this type of thing and you don’t need 21 years experience to do it. If you can find some fool that thinks his only alternative is paint/bodywork to fix it then good for you but for those of us in and around the car business that know better, your price for that job is laughable.

denttime says:

I guess you are a little jealous? By the way, it didn’t take me 2 hours to make $225. It took me 21 years of experience. Food for thought…

mike murphy says:

$225 for Two hours worth of work? And in what fantasy world do you think massaging sheet metal is worth OVER $100 an hour? There are doctors and other professional in this world that don’t command $100 an hour!

aBrckintheWall says:

Why would I buy a product from someone that keeps telling people they “don’t know what they’re talking about”. That’s no way to talk to a potential customer.

projectracerx says:

it is kinda an apprehensive price, but i watched the whole video to the part where the guy said there was 3 dents. and the hard part about buying another used tank is you may not get the exact matching color scheme unless you wait and wait
