Thanks for the reply, another question, where do I find brush kits? Looking at diagrams it looks like one brush comes with the holder and the other brush comes with the terminal?

Hey, I just tested my starter like this, on 12A it didn’t do anything, but on 60A it spun. Could it be that I still need a new starter/rebuild, or another issue?

good video, I had the same problem and did what you did, but I also replaced the oil seal on the starter motor, that’s why you had oil in the starter motor. Suzuki doesn’t sell the oil seal, I took the old seal and shaft to bearings inc. and had them order one, it was around 3 bucks.
