I have to make a general comment. Anyway, interference engines can be a
PIA, but this one is really not that hard to work on. I agree that it’s
crazy that valves bend or can damage the whole engine if a belt breaks.
Pretty lame.

I notice you are using Husky wrenches. They were good at one time, but I
bought some just for one of my cars and two of the wrenches were bent. If
you want some good cheap wrenches, get the GearHead set from pepboys for
$32; they are very nice quality wrenches, or Duralast (MADE IN TAIWAN ONLY)
from Autozone.

Yes, I believe all the daewoo engines are the same as this one. I believe
the daewoo engines may have come in 1.8L sizes and this is a 2.0L, they are
pretty much alike.
