You don’t have to disconnect from the fluid hose OR take the caliper apart.
With the plastic cover removed, you simply pull the two pins and slide the
pads out the top. Thats what the plastic cover is for. fyi
Hi Phils, you`ve just made an easy job difficult, I`ve done mine with the
calliper on the bike. 1. wheel out, 2. plastic cover off 3. pins out, with
a bit of help from a screwdriver+pliers 4. old pads out 5. pistons pushed
back after opening the bleed screw. you can push them back by hand if you
are strong enough or use some tools. 6. new pads in with the metals plates,
7. pins back 8. wheel+plastic cover back 9. bleed the system + top up with
fluid. 10. ENJOY BETTER BREAKING.
Hey guys, Anyone of you having the ‘anti chatter shims’ could make a photo
of them? The thing is that I don’t have any of them in my caliper and I’d
like to make them, because the rear brake chatter, squeaks. If you could

you know… you can change brake pad without taking of fthe support out of
bike. just replace the plastic cover from the up, take the metal “fingers”
out, take out old pads then with a screwdriver push the cylinder back
because new pads is bigger. then put new pads and push the metal “fingers”
back. its tooks less time than change it on this way. p.s. sry for my
english. if someone didnt understand how to do it i could make a video.

do not need to take the calipers off the bike. i made my change of brake
pads with the calipers on the bike. also i am not sure what will happen if
you open up the bolt holding the brake fluid line…

can change the pads without pulling the caliper. Regardless, Nice video.

i wouls ignore this vid if i where you – you dont need to remove the
caliper from the bike or split the caliper – it is easy when its done
properly

No need t remove the whole calliper!
really nice vid! do some more vids coz i have a gs500f to,and you can chek
out my vids if you want.
do not need to take the calipers off the bike. i made my change of brake
pads with the calipers on the bike. also i am not sure what will happen if

i changed mine without taking off or dismantling the calliper, took about
15,20 minutes. good video well described but uoy don`t need to do all that.
It isn’t necessary to remove the caliper from bike. You can replace break
pads on bike caliper too.
If your pistons don’t go back in easily then you probably do need to take
the caliper off.
