shifting linkage
forgot to move the throttle linkage and ripped the rubber bushing off the top of the motor what is that part called
There is a roll pin that attaches the shift shaft just above the lower unit, you should be able to get to it with the lower unit dropped a few inches. There is a good exploded view on boats dot net
2 stroke
ive a dt65 about 1989ish 3 stroke, Ive undone the 8 bolts plus the longer 1,
its dropped a couple of inches but i cant see where to disengage the shaft!
Im trying to get to the water pump,
can anyone advise??
