biker on a budget says:

is the stator on the right side ? and about how many coils need to be burnt out ….would 1 burnt out coil prevent it from starting ?

Ron B says:

Thanks bro. My bike died on me at a light last night and your video made this fix look like a breeze. Great tutorial.

Bino Martinez says:

how long did the cheap stator last

Sammmichez says:

I bought a 2007 gsxr 750 from a guy a couple weeks ago. The day after I bought it, I went to the DMV and stayed there for a good hour. After I was done my bike wouldn't start because the battery was dead, and he told me he put a new battery in it . After my friend jump started me , it was going fine until the bike turned off on me while I was riding. Could this be a sign of a bad stator or rectifier ?

chivivid l says:

Also could I just lay the bike over instead of draining the oil?

chivivid l says:

Great video the only thing I didn't like. Is you jumping it because that is what can actually cause the stator to go out. Also you should have added how to relocate the rectifier to the airbox.

jay are says:

I replaced my stator and rectifier, and battery 07 gsxr 600 . started up just fine and noticed the difference in how much brighter my lights where . head light and cluster. but when I ride sometimes it sputters , do I have to break in my stator? when it sputters I give it throttle to overcome the sputter

Nathan Teale says:

good tube sir!

Ryan Compton says:

how do you know if it's a bad rectifier/regulator but a good stator? Or do u just switch out both??

Cedric Wetherall says:

so does it not mater how you splice in the 3 wires?

Will Gibbons says:

great video!
I hear you are supposed to put silicon where the 2 parts of the engine case meet to prevent oil leaks. You said you ran it a few hundred miles of obviously you didn't leak, but would you still recommend using silicon???
THANKS

Kinchit Shah says:

Centershare32 you are lifesaver. I loved your video and excellent HD quality.

I need help with just 1 more thing!..I did everything you suggested but oil leak is a big problem for me now. I don't want to reopen it to apply gasket gel because it would cost me another 40 for oil.:(

Can you please give me an easy option or solution if you have any for this problem? I just don't want to open the whole damn thing again.

Thanks tons.

ray walsh says:

guys dont jump start a bike like hes doing. this will wreck the rectifyer. If your jump starting .Live lead on battery and earth lead clamp it to the frame not the battery
