Delboy’s Garage, Suzuki Bandit, Yoshi’ Race pipe, Thread Repair.

Took the race can off my Bandit, and as was inevitable, the narb who fitted it used cheap zinc bolts, so naturally they all snapped off, so a good oppertunit…

Great job with the bolt extraction bud! Just like a pro 🙂

Rasd4Metta says:

@Moonfleet41 Oh ya I noticed! You make me so proud! All that nagging I did
finally paid off lol

left hand bit might make shorter work of it, you would be helping the stuck
bolt rotate the correct way . heat and w-d 40 is a good idea, thanks

terroristone says:

That power is oxidation of the alloy. I’m happy you are going to mod that
can, i think it will flow better as well…another job well done Del!

terroristone says:

maybe a black/titanium/carbon finish, or even break the shine from it?

Moonfleet41 says:

@terroristone cheers buddy, im thinking like you, a scotch bright finish,
the polished surface has long since pitted and corroded, i would need to
mop the whole thing on a polisher, and then keep doing it.(paah cant be
arsed with that rubbish).. so yeah, ill be dealing with the finish later
this evening… and sadly it cannot be “stubbied” there is a ‘cone choke’
in each end, unlike the cheaper cans that just have end caps and a straight
perf’ tube, this would need Mig welding internally…

@Rasd4Metta Why thanks Rob, “Just like a pro”? hey, i can do an impression
of anyone lol….. and did you see i had my gloves on too…
