Enjoyed the video! great work on the content!
Thanks for this. Just picked up a 2001 and the guy had one front busted and one back busted – hanging with black electrical tape. I will need to replace four since I might as well do them all, and AMZ third-party lights look pretty inexpensive
Very helpful vid! I own a 2007 Boulevard C50T Just FYI the way that you are doing this is the only way yo tighten and loosen the nut on the back of the signal. That backing plate doesn't come off with those couple of screws. Still a pretty straightforward job. Thanks again for the insight!
If you remove the phillips screw you can slide the wire out of your way and use a 14 deep socket with a swivel and long extension. I just did this yesterday and posted a video. It is my second install, I cut the wire on my first install. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=V93IIaWGy4w
Thanks! Turn signal was glued when i bought the bike.. kept it glued for two years, but this morning the blinker had enough 😉
Will replace it like wise.
Why don't they just sell the rubber stem for this bike?
it should be about $15 but no. I can't find it.
so I decided to change to LED lights which looked good but then I needed to get a capacitor which defeated the purpose of less load on the battery. So I put every thing back on and just put the broken light in the front since its mounted vertical anyway.
Check out what a guy did to a Suzuki Volusia.

Bring it in and you'll fix it. You get all kinds of stuff depending on the weather? Nice and easy one here. Thanks Smitty.

Hey Smitty!
You had to mention the weather didn't you, AND now all we have is cold, clouds, and rain. It's supposed to be spring! Not happening yet…
Work safe, stay warm, see ya!
