Simon Alexander Critchley says:

Wait a few years and buy one from an old guy that hasn't driven it like a maniac,so make sure they are not like Scotty!!

M P says:

So 29 mpg = 120 mpg ?

Georges Brodeur says:

An automatic in a sports car is a mortal sin!

L A says:

29mpg actually. Come on Scotty.

Les Klower says:

We get both in Australia which one do you buy l don't know what the price difference is but Subarus are a very good car

Robert Cojocaru says:

And where's the gasoline engine with 120 mpg?

Jill Davidaon says:

This one gets 29 mpg. Big deal my Chevy cruz gets 46 every tank.

Jovanni_OrB says:

I was looking at getting the GR86 and now I know more and will be further thinking about my choice and might change my mind.

Rizwan M says:

Scotty. What do you think about the Nissan e-power system. It looks like a totally original take on the EV vehicle. While conventional EVs have a big battery, the e-power vehicles have a 1.2 liter generator, which recharges an itty bitty 2kWh battery, which then powers the electric motor. So it's not a hybrid, but rather an EV with a gasoline generator. The generator runs every now and again to keep he battery charged up. The battery levels are maintained by computer to improve longevity. The battery size is pretty small so weight is not a problem. What do you think of this concept?

Shadow Price says:

They have different suspension tuning and different ecu tuning, look at the torque/power graphs on the dashes of both cars they actually show torque/power crossover at different points.

A Dot In The Shark says:

The engine is a Subie engine but Toyota designed the intake system.

tony mazz says:

I Get exactly 23.8 mpg with my 2004 Crown Vic and see no reason to drive this coffin on 4 wheels.

Fernando Ratinoff says:

Toy car ?????, no kidding.!!

Fred Fester Clybern says:

Oh boy. What does Scotty have in store for us today

jerry keith says:

HI Scotty This Jerry Did you get my question??

Ren Khachatoorian says:

Yes only manual, as Scotty said, more fun and runs for ever.

Kimetsu87 says:

Both the BRZ and GR86 are basically half Toyota half Subaru. The engine is designed by Subaru (but also uses Toyota’s D-4S fuel injection system), and the transmission is made by Toyota/Aisin .

Roberta Jennings says:

Hey I know of one that got 200 miles on less than a gallon,…….towed in on a rollback after it broke down,,ha,…what does this video have to do with it getting 120 miles to a gallon,….must be a misprint,,,a case of don't know,,,don't care…ha.,,

SubyMT DAN says:

The BRZ has a off the shelf Toyota transmission. Not a Subaru transmission. Subaru does not make a rear drive transmission.

Colin Stace says:

Does the automatic transmission come with paddle shift ?
