MasterTobben says:

nice video! planing to do same on my wrx 00 and also nice to se that you
dont need to lift the intake manifold, but was it hard to fit the pipe
connectors on the intake hose becuse i noticed on the video they come on
after you had mounted the intake hose.

rallysoob says:

…if it aint broke, dont fix it. Lesson learned yet or you keep going til
u bliw sumn up like 9/10 guys that tune sti motors?

rallysoob says:

All these rubes do is make the car idle like crap..same as aftermarket bovs

ohiokid83 says:

Looked this video up after my install just to see what I could have done
differently…I like the wd-40 idea, but would rather use something like
soap…I also used zip ties to bend the nipples flat to give more clearance
under the manifold(no tearing) also I had an awkward time using a spring
clamp tool for the recirc hose to inlet clamp(it was really fused on there)
and instead used a big zip tie to draw the clamp tabs together(very
effective)…turbo shielding is important ! Nice bus !

Evan Nunyabizz says:

Does the tgv motor push up on your inlet at all? I put on the same inlet
since my intake manifold is off and just ended up removing the tgv motor
that was under it since I had mine deleted but it was pushing up on the
inlet pretty damn bad

LOSDUROSRG4L says:

is good for the price? and did this give you any HP

svtwrc says:

@03Stg2WRX no problems here. If you have an air intake make sure it has
enough space to move around without pulling from the turbo or intake.

svtwrc says:

@johnhoover1982 I did not remove the intake manifold to get the stock inlet
out. My stock inlet was no good so I cut off all the attachments . The
stocker is plastic so all the cutting was easy ,the inlet slid out.

svtwrc says:

@ohiokid83 it really was a pain. Recently went back in and cleaned up that
PCV mess with the original hose and clamped it to the inlet fitting. Oh
,double check the inlet to turbo connection it may move until it settles.

tino Aguilar says:

PLEASE GIVE ME THE LINK TO BUY IT OR TELL ME WHERE CAN I GET IT

svtwrc says:

@ tino Aguilar you may have a leak in the inlet and or vacuum leak
somewhere in the lines.may be a fuel problem pump or purge solenoid.

Funk3Fresh says:

you should be fine. the MAF may need to rescaled but if your tune is
sufficient the ECU will be able to adjust any slight changes.

Jacob Saca says:

My sti is road tuned right now and only mods are a FMiC, a bov, and an
intake, if I put this on my setup will it ruin my road tune?

TheSkilledKiller says:

Thanks for the upload. I have a Tomei inlet I purchased during a group buy.

circleater says:

How has the inlet held up over the few months you’ve had it? I’ve been
considering one.

TugaLife22 says:

i got one of thoose and the dam thing literally melted right by the turbo!

svtwrc says:

@Evan Nunyabizz the stock inlet was real close to the TVG motor but the
Godspeed does not interfere at all .

driftster99 says:

does the godspeed inlet come with the connections and hardware? -thanks

originevo8 says:

Nice vid bro. Try doing some numbers before and after. I own an evo and
have respect for subie owners. Thinking of purchasing their gt35r turbo.

John Hoover says:

Just picked one up….I think ur video will help !! Thanks !!

John Hoover says:

How did you get the stock inlet out ??????

svtwrc says:

@MasterTobben the black air filter hose has that metal ring to connect to
the turbo inlet. It was hard to fit that metal ring to the black hose but
some heat and WD40 got it on.

tino Aguilar says:

CAN YOU TELL ME IF THE TURBO INLET MAKES THE STI LOSSE POWER CUZ MY STI HAS
A FUEL LEAKING IS UNDER THE MANIFUL INTAKE AND THE INLET IST BROKEN FROM D
THE TURBO AND THE CAR LOSSE POWER AT 4000 RPMS SO PLZ RESPOND. THANKS

svtwrc says:

@driftster99 the inlet comes with the fittings for the hoses and the metal
ring to connect the after maf hose.

Evan Nunyabizz says:

The inlet hose still holding up with no problems? I put one of the
godspeeds on my old 03 wrx and am considering getting one for my sti since
my motor’s out and will be torn apart.

tino Aguilar says:

AND EVERYTIME I PUT GAS ON IT IT DOESNT START AND WHEN IT DOES IT SHAKES
TOO BAD, SO PLEASE SOME ONE HELP ME

Evan Nunyabizz says:

Thanks for the quick response, gonna order one right now. I have an spt
with a custom mount so it doesnt move. Im also gonna delete my tgvs and put
in 3mm phenolic spacers so once the motors all done it should run good!

svtwrc says:

@LOSDUROSRG4L the price is under $100 and so far no problems. You may gain
1 HP haha it’s more of a materials mod going from plastic to silicone
rubber.

svtwrc says:

@Jacob Saca I can not give you an answer based on any testing data. The
only thing it does in my opinion is upgrade the inlet from plastic to
silicone.

svtwrc says:

There are a lot of imitations out there, double check that when you
purchase an inlet, it is from the manufacturer.

svtwrc says:

@rallysoob my other video shows how the stock inlet failed at the turbo.
Instead of taking the intake mani out, you can squeeze this or the Perrin
under the manifold. Once you drive with the inlet you can make sure the
engine movement isn’t pulling any connections. My STi is almost at 90 k and
runs and idles like new due to very little modification and full
maintenance. . I rallyX and drive the car like should be driven.

TugaLife22 says:

i used the same one and it melted by the turbo
