Trying to install one in my mother’s Forester and am running into problems.
I get the trim unseated, but something is hanging up towards the bottom
where the A/C controls are. Any suggestions?
Thanks for your helpful insight. I’d say your wheel is on the other side
because you live in a different country. Which also means you definitely
have an accent.
Thanks. Was looking for ‘how to’ for my subaru forester 2005 to replace the
radio…looks similar so I might give it a try ( hope I don’t crack the
plastic! )
great video, had a little look at mine earlier & was concerned that the top
was secured with screws too, but trusty clips. thanks man, appreciate your
time for posting this
I finally got it done. Was trying to hook up a stereo for my mother, so has
manual HVAC controls. I had to go below the dash and disconnect those first.
Made it such an easy job, great walktrough! Two thumbs up :-)
Thanks a lot! This really helped me.
hi did your new cd player hook up to the sub in back of the forester..or
did you have to buy a amp to power the sub..be great help thanks..
The only things down there are 2 plugs for the AC. Once they are unplugged
the trim should come straight out?
Man you made my day!
