Finally! The time for the @ECUMasterUSA PMU16 has come!
This ECU Master PMU (Power Management Unit) 16 is one of the parts I’ve been waiting for the most!
Installing this part opens up so many options to help make my old Subaru Impreza GC8 a bit more modern adding features and functions via Canbus communication.
In this video we will be going over completing the new concentrically twisted cabin side harness, talk about the PMU16, it’s benefits, features and what you can gain with one. There is another adapter harness that needs making in order for the PMU16 to work with the existing harness. All that and more in this labor intensive episode.
Another reason this PMU16 is so exciting is because it brings us one step closer to deleting the engine bay fuse box (which is another dream of mine).
