Corey D. Arnold says:

Easy job. Thanks for the guide!!

SalandFindles says:

I don't quite like the order of operations here with pulling that small extension off the longer one attached to the spark plug socket and reattaching it when you need it. You could just use a 3/8" drive universal joint adapter and leave everything in place.

Geff Lynn says:

Do you have a 2005 3.0 OB video on spark plug replacement?

Ronald Greer says:

really nice video, very clear what to do. thanks Any idea why my #1 plug wire would keep popping off the spark plug?

Greg Wilson says:

Make sure you put copper Anti-seize compound on the treads of the plug, or the next time you change plugs you are going to have a hard time getting the old ones out.

Hello, I am using a translation program. Can you tell me who the original Subaru supplier is. Which manufacturer uses Subaru to install the ignition coils?

Kevin Duffey says:

Just watching this contemplating doing this job. Man I miss old cars with well exposed… well everything! I am curious why my local shops charge between 350 and 500 for this job. This seems from the video to take about an hour.. and the plugs are about 30 bucks for 4.. is labor really 200+ an hour now? I was quoted 3300 to do a gasket replacement on our subaru.. I remember doing my own gaskets on old cars.. think it took a few hours or so.. the gasket was not that expensive either.. so wth is going on with the costs for things like this?

Revok Torment says:

Pro tip: if you need to watch the video to know how to pop open the hood, don't change your spark plugs yourself 😉

Taylor Nielsen says:

Very good video thank you!

Bill Gargan says:

I cant believe you guys missed it completely???? Ive changed plugs in so little time by doing from under the car. Ive done this as an adjunct to a brake job, even faster. Despite all the numerous stupid videoa on YouTube? I use a magnetic, swivel, 5/8” spark plug socket, a very short 1 1/2” 3/8” extension, a 3” 3/8” ext, and a flex head 3/8” drive ratchet. And NGK Iridium plugs…..They last forever, Gap .030” for Turbo XT…….So quick from below. Oh, 12mm for coil pack and a medium long reg screwdriver to pop off clip from coil pack. So easy guys..Not all the removal and knuckles ripped off as from above..By the way, all he cars you work on are so rusty and dirty?? Dont you ever power wash before working on a car?? I guess as a California Boy I love clean cars that run great?? I hate crappy weather and dirty cars…

Ruben Garza says:

Excelente vídeo.

Bill Gargan says:

What about checking gap??

Blake Tankersley says:

thank god he showed me how to open the hood. is that how you prop it??? reallly??? wow!
