I will always firmly believe this is one of the worst sports cars ever built. I mean it was a complete failure and sales flop. It was ridiculously expensive, it was always slow for the price, looked mediocre, it's heavy, its track numbers were not good, and it's sound was okay at best. Better than turbo cars but nothing for Honda or any owner to be proud of. Plenty of cars for half the price that sound more entertaining. Aside from it being a future investment because of how rare it was from being a failure, no reason to buy one. Sure it's reliable but so are 911s, corvettes, etc. Not a particularly special driving experience from the dozen reviews I've read and watched either.

Porsche sells about the same number of 911s in one month as Honda managed to sell NSX's over its entire 2nd gen run… Sad. And 911s aren't cheap either. 115K for a base… with the average one probably transacting around 150K or more.

I hope anyone buying an NSX has another real sports/supercar in their garage that is actually fun to drive.
