The title of the video says it all!

6xArcaNumx6 says:

Does Sirius sound like the radio or like the USB iPod port?

Peter Gharib says:

Thanks man! Just tried it!

XxandyxX712 says:

uhh i have to navigation system so does it come with those settings?

2000CamryV65speed says:

can something of this sort be done with the fujitsu ten nav in my 2013????
sounds so quiet!!!

Roy Batty says:

Why in the name of Zeus’ butthole did Subaru make this so cryptic?

indianoverclocker says:

Alex.. I found what I was doing wrong.. I paired my phone manually through
the Head Unit and never got it to connect automatically.. Then I paired it
with voice commands and now it works. Mostly 🙂

Alex Cicu says:

i just got my car and the bluetooth works as soon as i turn the car on it
is weird that you have to turn it on manually everytime i would check to
see what primary phone it is picking up might be someone in your house that
hooked their phone up first if thats the case i am not sure how to fix that
but it should not be very difficult just go through the settings on the car
radio

Clarke Doody says:

BTW does anyone get a weird shutter in their engine after winding it up
hard? got a wobble in 4th on the highway coming down from around 7500 rpm
and it stayed for a good 30 seconds until the turbo stopped. Also, is the
electrical supposed to be so weak that when you hit the lock button from
inside that it drops the rpm in idle about 100 briefly? This car is great
but seems very quirky.

Clarke Doody says:

Thank god for this, just bought a 2011 Impreza WRX and couldnt believe how
bad the sound was, through mode definitely made it much better. Still not
the best, but a huge difference.

indianoverclocker says:

Hey Mike, I noticed that your Bluetooth was instantly connected as soon as
you turned the radio on. How do you do that? I always have to go into the
Bluetooth setup menu and select the paired phone to get it to connect. Very
annoying. Anything I’m doing wrong?

pbmaster198 says:

Something i’ve noticed since I’ve had my ’13 wrx hatch… The sound system
over radio is pretty much always bad. However, when you plug in your phone
and play music that way, it gets 1000% better, especially with these tips.
So if you’re worried about the sound quality, don’t. Just make sure you
have an mp3 player

93s13vert says:

Hoe do I do this in a 2009 Subaru Legacy?

BhodiCat says:

Sounds better, thanks for the tip.

s2knott says:

99% of them dont know about it, i just found this myself.

acroracing says:

Just did this on my 09 wrx.. As much as i hated the stereo now i love it.

Hgoku10 says:

I take it this only for the 08+ WRX/STI cause this doesn’t work in my 07 at
all. Darn the luck.

scoobs says:

Thanks for posting this man. I just bought a 2013 Wrx hatch and I was
disappointed with the stereo sound but changing it to through mode made a
big difference. I guess the salesman forgot to mention it.

that1guy950 says:

hey can you make a video on why you chose the sedan over the hatchback
Subaru? just want to know your opinion on the two

NightShadowVI says:

I think I might try this out next time I get to drive a new Impreza to the
gas station (Subaru Sales Lot Attendant).

locozildjiangodx says:

Well done! Too bad I’m replacing my stock in a week :p

djmkrr says:

This actually works, I do notice a bit of difference. I opt not to turn the
loud “on” though, I drop all my levels except treble to -8 in my hatch and
keep treble at “0” and it makes things pop well when cranked to 35. I
figure this would also be a good companion if someone wanted to just sound
deaden their doors with some polyfill (polyester filling) or something from
second skin. Things stay stock, more sound stays in at more punch with this
trick and sound deadening.

Zooluu3 says:

Sweet vid and find! Di you Happen to know if this works for 2010 models and
up? I’m going to try it regardless 😀 Thanks for sharing!

july man says:

what if you have the in dash dvd player how can I get that loader?

amerino13 says:

Awesome Mike, I just watched this vid and went outside and set my ’13 WRX
sedan up! Keep the vids uh-comin’

Zach Johns says:

I think through mode is the worst sound. I just kept mine on sedan mode.
Wagon mode and sedan are basically the same. The best thing do to is use
your EQ on your phone.

shadowdeathcat says:

lol I spent 3 grand on my system sounds better now lol. Nav sub amp dvd ect
guess I shoulda did this instead and put in a stage 2 with the 3 grand lol

M Le says:

Sick walk through. Thanks for info

SuperJordy3 says:

Wow! The stock was great before, now it is HECTIC!! Can rattle my car on
the outside all without a sub.(;

toocoolee88 says:

Thx for the video it made a big difference.

uthmentality says:

Thanks bro. I have a 2011 Base Impreza Wagon and for the life of me I hated
the factory radio until I saw this. Thanks for uploading this. “Through
Mode” sounds so much better. =)

policeman10019 says:

Thank you. My friends always give me crap about my stock car stereo being
wimpy. Now i can adjust it!! SUBARU STI FTW!!!

Andrew tran says:
