How To Install 32" Auxbeam RGB LED Light Bar Subaru WRX STI 2015 2016 2017

What’s up YouTube!? In this video, we show you how to install the AuxBeam 32″ Curved RGB LED Light Bar in Cliff’s brother’s Subaru WRX Impreza. We installed the light bar behind the lower grill. His lower grill has been replaced by the GrillCraft MX series mesh grille. You can see how to install the lower grille here: https://youtu.be/KaUry24-YXc .

This guide also applies to the WRX and STi for the 2015, 2016, and 2017 model years.

We are very impressed by the quality of the light bar and definitely recommend it. It really adds to the look of the vehicle as well. You’ll notice when looking at the part (Link below) that there are lot of one star reviews; however, these are almost exclusively due to the app and not the quality of the light bar itself.

Does it add brightness to the road, like fog lights do? If so, how bright is it in white light mode? Thanks for the awesome video!

knurri says:

mounting to plastic = vibration city ALWAYS cover your wiring in split loom tubing to avoid corrosion.

Griffin Stanley says:

hi, the link takes me to a 52" light bar and i cant find the 32" one anywhere. any idea how i could find it?

Andy Ellingboe says:

Where did you buy this kit from because I am looking for some thing like it?

Thanks

Magnan Imus says:

I got a great idea for a video if you're interested:
Would you guys be willing to a follow up vid of the lightbar output on a completely dark road? I'm considering it as i live out in a densly wooded countryside and roads can get pitch black here.
Also could if you could get the temp reading after being on for a considerable amount of time 15-30 mins? Amazon sells infared thermometers for like $10 that'd be perfect for the job (and just a super handy tool to have, works great for cooking too). This will tell us if we'd be able to tint the light cover for a more discrete look.

Anyways, great channel. Subbed. Looking forward to more vids!

Cade Midgett says:

Are you able to do any custom color sequences? Such as the famous Auxbeam police headlights.

VIXREX says:

I think Iā€™d throw a dark tint film over it to hide it a little more. Thanks for the diy tutorial though šŸ™‚
