this wont work on the heat shield on the top side of the exhaust manifold?
or will it? and if i remove the top header heat shield what could it affect
other than heating electrical wires?
how can you work with gloves on?
i have a 98 integra ls and recently bout a cat back 4-2-1 and realized when
it got here that its for a 90-94.. will it still work right? please get
back asap
my Dodge 2008 Ram started to present these noises since 1 month. How do I
know if the Cat-converter is broken ? or it isn’t stable enough. Weird
though, yesterday the noise disappeared 0_o !!
as a female college student u are saving me a bunch of freakin money!
Thank you so much just gave us all a great idea!
Thank you this has been driving me crazy.
I’m so grateful, I could climb through my computer and kiss you! It was
simple and easy… and it totally solved the uber annoying rattle. Now all
I hear is “bliss”. If a girl with zero automotive skill can do it people,
anyone can.
Great Video My Friend… Thank You
kinda cobbly but it works!
eric, I have a 04 expedition 5.4 started making a metal click sound when
I start the truck in 1 min. 2 to 3 clicks then stops when warm up when she
turns off she does iit again cooling off, from front exhust ,heat shield or
broken converter????
0:16 lmao best part
On 17 seconds, The slow motion really sounds like and HI performance engine!
Fixed the cat shield in my Outback last month. Thanks Eric!
I feel like mine is similar to this, but i hear it coming from the muffler.
It usually sounds off during idle or at least under 2kRPMs.
hahahahha llallallalla!
wasnt it just loose bolts? couldnt we just tighten those 2 bolts?
So I went to the Ford repair center and the only problem they found with my
car was that there was a rattle caused by a exhaust bracket. I’m sure they
would charge $100 plus to fix this so I thought I would fix it myself. I
have literally been waiting for an ETCG vid about rattling exhaust systems
and after seeing this I now have the confidence to do it myself. Christmas
came early! Thanks Eric the car guy!
appreciate the video, man. Thank you!
I have a 95 tacoma 2.4 I can’t locate the engine coolant temp sensor .i
found the temp gauge switch but not the coolnt temp sensor PLEASE HELP
Dude you rock
We call them jubilee clips here in the UK.
No smoking in bed while prone or you’ll spend the night in the box.
AWWEESOME! Thank you for making this video haha totally have that problem!
Sounds like Mike Rowe is helping me fix my car. Stay dirty lol
OH SHIEEET i did the same thing with my cat heat shield
Thanks, i’d already checked those, it’s coming from the front bumper
assembly, possibly a fog light or the lower valance itself… Problem is, i
can’t get anything to rattle unless i’m driving, and even then it’s not at
every bump.
The bracket is already bottomed out (tight as it will go). It’s rattling
because the metal has stretched over the years from constant
heating/cooling and vibration.
i meant to say 200,000 km, not miles, sry im from canada, and the engine
was compression and oil pressure tested from the wreckers.
I have a 2008 Ford Mustang V6 that rattles at idle and makes vibrating
sounds when putting it into drive. I’m told nothing is wrong with it but
that is crap, I have 62k miles
my back muffler had a shield on it..and it came off whilst driving
about..scared the crap out of me as at first i diddnt know what it
was…..my next car..I just ripped it off as Vauxhalls often have rusty
exhausts
Just grind the exhaust off at the header for an instant mod! Then take it
up skyhill.
I almost break my neck trying to see his face and I ddnt notice til like
almost 2 minutes after lol
Something I need to do on my 1992 Honda Accord
