@zachwingfield Out of all the cars on the road one has to hit you with a
metal bumper that does major damage and nothing happens to his vehicle. If
he had figerglass or plastic bumpers, it would have been a different
outcome probably for both of your cars. So by any chance did you take video
of the process of trying to pry your hatch open?

@carman81usa My car is totaled, the jeep broke a fog light that’s it. I’m
not sure if it was a cherokee or a wrangler but it had a huge metal bumper.
I just spent 2 hours at a do it yourself auto repair shop on post sawing
and prying and we finally got the hatch to open.
How much did you collect from his insurance? When I had a 77 Chevy C10
truck some idiot in a Jeep Wrangler did a NASCAR move and sandwiched me
between his rear wheel and the guard rail on the freeway. He even tired to
drive away but it blew out his tire. All my truck suffered was front
fender, bumper, and front signal light damage. His ins agent only wanted to
give me a grand but I put some parts into it and BMW Z3 seats. So they cut
me a check for $3500 and it wasn’t “totaled”, so I fixed it.

ive been wondering what that sound was on my subaru. i had a feeling it was
the belt since it has a bunch of cracks in the belt. Then i started to
think it was the power steering. good video man

Hey that’s not bad at all for a Jeep hitting you, your lucky the bumper and
exhaust didn’t get it, and your rear glass didn’t break, I guess he really
didn’t hit you that hard at a fast speed. I bet the Jeep had more damage
than your car. Can you still open the hatch? I would say your suffering
from whiplash and your neck hurts, lol
i dont understand what you did, so you removed the belt tensioner on the
alternator and DIY’ed yourself a piece of metal to hold it more tight?
@zachwingfield That’s cool. I went to Pick N Pull, 2 for 1 day and got two
fenders for $50 and the chrome metal bumper I hammered back and looked
normal again. The light lens and frames were also a cheap item at the
wrecking yard. Now I always have my eyes open for reckless drivers with
nice cars. It’s more than likely they’ll be fully covered and will be
crashing into me in the near future. lol

lights straight from Tokyo-
Jeep tools. Atleast you were in the car and he didn’t have a chance to do a
hit and run.
