Where is the Purge Control Solenoid on 1999 Subaru Outback. Is it under
intake manifold?
Thanks for the vid, good stuff

313hummer says:

Fixed the shake I had at idle, and I’ll have to check if it fixed my oil in
the air intake tomorrow. Nice.

Andrew Wrobel says:

You’re awesome, man. Thanks for all the vids.

Derek Gardner says:

I’ve watched quite a few of your vids. Good stuff. Thanks.

texcali85 says:

Briansmobile/ thanks for the reply and the video. Its a shame how
complicated engineers make theses newer cars….

briansmobile1 says:

@Boasandpythons I have worked on a couple of them. They do things a bit
different. It takes patience, but they’re reasonable enough.

Luke Hudgins says:

So when it’s removed next time, there is no risk of the teflon breaking up
and little bits falling in?

briansmobile1 says:

@taza11659 You’re most welcome!

briansmobile1 says:

I don’t know man. I’m too tired to understand fully what you’re saying.

R3dR1ot366 says:

@briansmobile1 it has 93,000

NathanGrant1975 says:

Brian…Don’t hit things with your hands! You will regret it when you are
older (carpal tunnel..etc). Stick a pipe of the appropriate length over the
handle of your ratchet. Know a bunch of older techs who have these problems
now. Really appreciate your videos though!

briansmobile1 says:

@scarhead8711 Thanks for subscribing- hope you enjoy the vids!

Brian White says:

How far do you screw it back in?

tmibiker says:

Thanks so much for this! It always makes me feel a little more confident in
what I’m doing to watch someone do the same thing first.

transdetendal says:

i know what you mean but your not that boring to watch,ha ha ,i quite injoy
it but yesterday was a drag, out looking for a new ride cus my knee was
busted almost 2 years ago and cant walk far ,so got a 93 peugeot cheap and
hope it holds a while

briansmobile1 says:

@transdetendal Some of my most valued learning made me tired and confused
first ; )

Steve Morley says:

Hey kkjellquist, can you give me a list of the parts you are doing for the
tune up? Need to do the same on my 02 Legacy. Thanks.

briansmobile1 says:

@spelunkerd That’s awesome- thanks for posting. Have you noticed some laser
pointer use? That was your idea. ; )

Ian Halverson says:

Thank you! Perfect video, covered all the specifics that beginners might
miss!

briansmobile1 says:

@williamcheung325 Sounds like a loose alternator belt.

lbori1 says:

Hey Brian I’ve been checking your vids more and more I really like how
detailed you are brotha, and would like to know if you would want to do a
how to take off the pcv and clean it for an STI??

transdetendal says:

AngeV2 says:

good vid brian once again. Why 5 dislikes i’ll never understand

R3dR1ot366 says:

Hey Brian I own a 2002 Subaru Legacy and I wanted to know your thoughts
about my problem. My car recently has had sluggish take-offs and sometimes
at low rpm (seems to be occuring more often now) starts to jerk and act
like it is not getting fuel or losing fuel pressure what do you suggest? I
recently changed the plugs and the fuel filter thanks to your videos. any
help you could give would be much appreciated.

Janos D says:

yeah Brian is the MAN..:)

Doloris Picotte says:
