I’m assuming my ’95 Legacy has no cabin air filter?
Thanks
How about my ’95 Legacy?
After paying over $75 at the dealer-including $49 in labor costs- I finally
figured out I could do this myself! This video helped and it was sweet of
them to do it. I did have to do more research however and discovered one
little trick he didn’t mention. To pull the glove box out you need to
squeeze in on the sides of the glovebox. Now that I know how I can do the

Class act – a dealership showing DiY! You’re awesome!
Excellent so great to see that a dealer actually shows a customer how to
replace the cabin air filter, that is if the customer whats to attempt it.

Sorry we missed you. I’m sure you got this changed but is there anything
else I can help you with? – Helen

-Once the glove box is out, there are 5 more plastic screws (just loosen
and pop out with a flathead -Remove the compartment where the manuals
sit-squeezet the 4 tabs and remove. good to go. Thx 4 the vid
Awesome, much appreciated for your help. You are excellent on camera.
Wow – I would never expect a dealership to show customers how to do their
own maintenance. Unheard of in my area. Thumbs up to AndersonSubaru for
doing this.
Does the 2003 Subaru Forester 2.5XS have a cabin air filter? I’d like to
know before I take of my glove box.
First step isn’t even necessary
