2022+ Subaru WRX; IAG AOS Install

Your Subaru WRX Will thank you for this! Today we are going over how to install the IAG V3 AOS on a 2022+ Subaru WRX. This is probably one of the easier AOS installs I have done before. This should walk you through how to install this unit. Essentially what an AOS does is remove oil and oil vapor from entering the Intake track of the Car. This will help keep octane levels higher as oil will reduce octane rating when mixed. as well it will just keep oil out of the places that it shouldn’t be anyway. Hope it helped!

Hey tanner honestly I’m not sure if you answer me about the greemspeed aos what you think about it? Is that only for turbocharged cars, I also uave a 2012 impresa that is kind of consuming oil and I was thinking about install it on that car

John Hough Jr says:

I did this a few weeks ago. You will need long hose clamp removing pliers, skinny. You will need the what 27mm socket, 1 1/16th SAE for the PCV valve, I used 2 socket extenders, and a lug nut socket. Hardest part is stock hose clamps removal. Hey what do you think about changing out the PCV valve for maintenance? I read it should be done between every 30-40k. I have not heard anyone talk about that yet, manual says change like a spark plug. Thoughts? I plan to buy a new one and then put on the AOS next summer around 30k

I really want one for my 2021 wrx, but don’t want to void my warranty! I don’t get why it voids it if it’s so good for the car! Frustrating haha I only have 9700 miles on it but want to have that added security of a aos! Keep up the great content!

J. McCoy says:

What are your thoughts on the Perrin AOS? I want to get one just don’t know which one is better.

D.C. says:

I feel like the aos I installed on my ej killed my turbo.

Eric Moss says:

You make it look easy!! I really need to add an AOS to my 2017 Forester 2.0XT Touring… but it's one of those dreaded need to do projects.

Phill Anderson says:

I couldn’t get it to fit anywhere under the hood of my right hand drive 2022wrx so I sent it back

Pole Position says:

I think I might go with a catch can so I can empty out all the scum. I don’t want that stuff going back in the oil

Blackhawk says:

Are you going to big northwest?

Mendez_Guzman says:

What the freak… 6:156:20. That’s like some matrix crap. Breather hose fell and immediately right on his hand!
