Here’s a how-to video to replace the starter on the 2004 to 2007 Saturn Vue with the 3.5 liter Honda engine. The biggest challenge with starter replacements is oftentimes the access to the starter. Typically, they are attached to the engine, and may require removal of hoses, brackets, wiring harnesses, etc to get at the starter bolts and wiring end. This job took about 2 hours from start to finish, and having a long-handled breaker bar is extremely helpful, to get deep inside the engine compartment and loosen old, rusty starter bolts.
