Cut the nut off.
What do you do if the nut is corroded on so much that nothing you try makes it break loose? I have tried vice gripping both sides and it just strips when you try to turn it. This is really killing me. I got the top one off, just not the bottom one.

All the forums say to cut these off… This is definitely quicker and cleaner. Thanks, just replace mine last night !
