Can’t wait to try a game out… what should my first game be?

Shane McRetro says:

You know I will! Can’t stop documenting!

Shane McRetro says:

Ahh it’s all tomatoes just like LSD, LCD – same thing! 😛

Shane McRetro says:

No worries, do make some videos when you get it and spread the good word of
Hakko 808! 😀

Andrew Joy says:

Nice to see someone who can solder , the amount of vids i have seen with
people putting a load of solder on the end of the iron and trying to get it
in the right place….or people sticking the solder next to the leg of the
component and then jamming a warm iron in that aint hot enough. Cool video
i do like some good PSB porn the bus lines on that pcb are sexy 🙂

Andrew Joy says:

thats PCB not PSB dam my fat fingers.

Shane McRetro says:

Oh crap, I played BOMBERMAN! I think it is just about as good 😀

Shane McRetro says:

The Hakko 808. It is an absolute pleasure to work with. I got mine imported
over from the states. Only thing is that you have to use a step down
transformer with it here in Australia. But it works darned well! 🙂

Shane McRetro says:

Hahaha, I used to do that when I was a kid. Just keep feeding the solder
into the iron tip and make a GIANT blob of solder… not recommended these
days of course 😛 I held the board up to the light and there must be a few
layers on this board. The amount of vias! There were hundreds! I’ll capture
some video of it up against a light next time I disassemble her again
(should be in the next few weeks)!

ondafly says:
