allow my radio or any inside interior power to work but with a little
rewiring problem solved thank u so much for replying!

I had my mechanic complete the process in this video about a month or two
ago. However, this morning, my car is exhibiting the old symptoms: no
chime, only static on radio, cranks but won’t turn over, no power locks,
but all lights are functional. Any ideas as to what might be going on now?
I tried bridging the connection i got it to partically turn over but it
seems like its not enough power to completely turn over to start any
suggestions
I have a 97 automatic saturn sc 2. Time to time it takes about maybe 50
turn the key to get cranked up. I did a bypass ask u said to do. It will do
good by later on the day it will go back hearing a click or a knock. I had
to start a tested it is good so what am I doing wrong . Please get back to
me as soon as possible thank you
Your 2000 does not have that relay it has to be something else try doing a
passlock relearn.Check your inbox i will send you a link about the
procedure.

have 95 saturn I replaced clutch switch , checked alt and battery but ,
somedays I can crank it drive 15 miles to take food to my elderly father
but as soon as I cut off car , it wont start no clicking noise nothing but
next day most times will crank ? I cant find starter relay on firewall
parts place says thats were it is? do you think it is under the dash ,

gotta open a door for it to turn over. now i changed the battery in the car
and now i have no power to the starter or ignition, does this sound like
the relay switch? oh i get power everywhere else but starter and ignition
wait….so how do you know if you have a security system on your car? I
didn’t think I had a security system on my car but I have this exact
problem with my 99 Saturn Sl2

this done to it! My problem is whenever a Mechanic looks at it, it actually
starts so they can’t do anything with it because at that moment there’s
nothing wrong with it. No one I know can do this. Is this a job that has to
be done by a mechanic?

that’s me…..lol
So a 1997 would not have one? Is it possible to have a late 97 with this
problem. Trying everything. My nephew is stuck 500 miles away. Looking for

elantra similar to the no start on the saturn. I know my car has a security
system also but i’m not sure if thats whats causing mine to not start is
there an easy way to pinpoint this before taking the dash apar.t It will
crank over and over motor turns good not the tim. belt but i’m NOT getting
spark OR fuel so it has to be ignition somehow right?. any ideas? i’m lost.
I presume you have a 00-02 Saturn if so they have a anti theft system were
the ignition lock cylinder uses a calibrated resistance in the lock
cylinder.If the lock cylinder does not send the right resistance code to
the body control module the car will not run.
Saturn Ion security systems disable the fuel pump from about 2003 up.
Saturn Ions wont start when cold. Something to do with a faulty ignition
switch I think. Is there a way to disable this on the saturn Richpin? If
anyone knows, IT’s RICHPIN!!! Keep e’m coming. You are one hell of a
mechanic!!!!!!!!!!!!

If all you’re doing is bridging a connection, why not just use a simple
piece of wire instead of tearing apart a relay?

will this work on an 05 ion?

And I hear u saying beCause u have a standard the two wires to bridge did I
bridge the wrong ones.because mine is an.automatic
Should I just junp the battery because it is completely dead now
I have had the battery since I got the car a year ago not sure how long
before that the previous owner had it

The only difference is the automatic has a range switch were the standard
has a clutch interlock switch.

Rich, does a 2000 Saturn have the relay in the same location as your 97?
If it just cuts power to the starter, you can easily put a monetary switch
to the starter. Or in Richpins case, you can push start the car.
