So the spots where it’s made for an automatic transmission cooler lines don’t you have to block those off

Hi I have a 2002 Saturn SC1 I'm experiencing over heating and I took my car to a guy and he said something about the manifold water inlet? What exactly would that part be… I don't have the manual to the car?

I have a new radiator, a new VC gasket, sparkplugs, oil filter, oil, and dexcool.

My question is about what order haha.
1. Drain. Flush radiator, block-Tstat, and possibly do the heater core.
2. Remove Valve cover, clean inspect valves, replace all 4 splugs, clean and replace cover.

Now should I fill the coolant? or do an oil change first? Does it matter

Do you have any videos on transmissions and there sensors? I replaced the speed sensor and it still doesn't want to go into the last gear and sometimes it's hard going into reverse. Also it Will downshift it's self?
