How to Replace the Cooling Fan GM 2.2L Ecotec Saturn Ion and Chevy Cobalt

When a 2004 Saturn Ion with a 2.2L Ecotec engine overheated while idling we suspected the cooling fan. This video will cover the troubleshooting and replacement procedures for this repair. Most Ions made from 2003-2007 and Cobalts made from 2005 to 2009 use the same fan and the steps should be the similar.

I just did mine. Gotta check the radiator mounts. It seems loose to me. I do t recall the radiotor around.
