FYI: I have a 1994 SC1 and instead of the two screws located in the area of
the wiring harness, there are three with one located near the bottom and
positioned in way that’s a total hassle to remove. I was able to get the
driver’s side skin off but that third screw is making the passenger side a
real nightmare.
Great video. Does this also apply to 2nd Gen SC2’s? I have the same amount
of torque screws on my 2nd Gen SC2 and by the looks of it, it appears I can
but I noticed some spot welding near the first screw. Not sure if that’s
welded to the skin or not.
thanks for the video cheers
Thank you; very helpful. I love my 2001 SL2, but will never buy another
“plastic car.”

No there isnt, i believe its just a 10mm socket. Just be careful when upon
instalation you can scratch the window.

Thanks for posting. I guess I thought these were usually welded or glued
on, not bolted. Are most skins on cars bolted?
is the any knid of special socket needed to remove the glass attached to
the windoe regulator?
Wish all cars were that easy. All the cars I work on I not the bend the
skin off grind the weld seal weld Im like wtf.
