I can't get my motor mounts off, any suggestions?

J 9022 says:

WOW thanks! I can't do this repair by myself, but this video really helps me to better understand where everything is, and the work and time it takes for a service tech to change my G5 alternator.

Emanuel Melendez Govea says:

Hello, friend, I have a problem with a car like this. I buy it without Secondary Air Injection Check Valve and I already buy it. But when I installing a metal hose, I don't know where it is placed or if it shouldn't be screwed somewhere, I hope your help is not good in English

Dylan Gomez says:

I need to do this to my car. It looks intimidating, but seeing the video definitely helps guide me. Thank you!!

Aldo Zambrana says:

That’s for this, after looking at it, it definitely confirmed this is too much for me to handle lol

Bri says:

Great video for this gnarly hidden alternator. Adding torque specs would be really helpful.

Alfred Flores says:

My ground cable was loose all the way off. Can I connect to anywhere that's metal?

cassie parson says:

How long did it take to put the alternator in

Quincy Robertson says:

Isn't the 2009 the same?

Rob G says:

If you get the screws out the alternator will move itself out of the belt. Putting it back is tough but with 2 people it’s can be done.

t r says:

That was a really long and unnecessary way to do that. You don’t have to remove the engine mount or coolant and you don’t need a serpentine belt tool. You just need a 3/8 or 1/2 ratchet to get the belt off depending on the tensioner design

Jerry Nevarez says:

I have a question if you don’t mind…My dads cobalt was diagnosed with a bad alternator, I followed your video replacing the alternator but the battery light is still on and the volts are a little above 12. A local mechanic says its the alternator fuse but this car doesn’t seem to have one, any idea as to what it could be?

Star Wars Rush says:

Wow will you reply to this one?

Marco Lopez says:

Good video.
It need to be re edited.
You forgot to show how to connect ground cable.

justin bouy says:

Please don't forget to bleed the coolant
