Is this a Saab?
I think the name of the “intake grading” is called a “COWL VENT” I may be
wrong but I was just saying I believe that is what the proper term is…..
“Front wind-shield wiper arm remover – 1941” on youtube shows the correct
tool for finessing off your wiper arms.
No clamps worked for me, only the technique in this video – thank you for
sharing!

would a windshield wiper motor be strong enough to make a sort of electric
pit bike? just to move around 90kg?
This video was great! We were struggling with how to adjust the travel of
the blades and this video showed us how. Thanks.
I successfully replaced the motor and now have 2 working windshield wipers!
Thanks for showing me how to accomplish this job. I am so proud of myself!
🙂

instead of screwing up the splines, you use a simple battery clamp removal
tool and the windshield wiper arms pop right off without damaging the
splines.
If you’ve done any home plumbing, you might have a Faucet Handle and
Compression Sleeve Puller Kit in the tool box (about $11 if you don’t).
Might work for removing the wiper arms. Glad I saw this, thought of it as I
was watching the video. I’m about to head to the car to repair my wipers in
a few minutes, and will know. I’ve replaced the motor on a 1987 and 1989
Plymouth Voyager in the past without having to remove the grating, but this
time it’s a disconnected linkage.
what’s up with this video…it’s just words
Clamp removal tool didn’t work for me, it was just so stuck. Only thing
that worked was in this video, so thanks a lot. You saved me a lot of
trouble !
does any body know how to replace the wiper arm on a Mercedes Benz 300E
