Jan Iwaszkiewicz says:

How are these monts going few months later? I already bought some liquid rubber for my 9-3 aero.
What is actually inside these monts by design? They are made of two parts. Is there another bearing inside?

PRODIGY5369 says:

I'm replacing my entire suspension with bilstein b8s and eibach lowering springs. I have also bought some new lemforder top mounts which are marketed as suitable for upgraded suspension. This is going to be perhaps a silly question but do you think I should do your Poly upgrade? It's worth doing even on new top mounts?
Since I have had the car not only does it handle badly but it's got a lot of knocking. I'm replacing control arms, engine mounts and anything to do with suspension with new and anything that has bushes with poly bushes wherever I can.

caractacus brittania says:

Great video…thankyou.
Remember buying hks mounts for my mr2 turbo at £285….but this
Method will be just as effective.
I will definately be doing this.

trancegsi says:

Great video
Can top mounts make a knock same as say drop links etc.
Drops been changed and all bushes checked… No movement. I know they creek and click when going but can they knock. My Aero knocks every journey except first mile or two…. Only on 70k!? Worse when I have weight in the rear?

FuZe says:

I have replaced (everything on both sides) wishbones, rear springs, front end links, rear roll bar bushings and rear upper control arm. Most of the sounds are gone, but I still have a cluni noise going over bumps. The sound only occurs once I am over and on the way down from the bump. Front springs looks fine. Can this be the issue for me?

Un- Known says:

Thank you incredible ideas yet again

Vask says:

❤️ thanks Cyd

Paul Shinnick says:

Good video, I won’t attempt it myself though. I’ve got a reinforcing bar across the struts, does that do the same thing?

SJ-Omar says:

This is great my car has been making some noise now I hope this will cure the issue and make it a bit more enjoyable to drive
