The "Diesel snorkel" is a must! 🙂
There are not only available on the Aero! I believe they changed it in 2003 where its a larger snorkel. Both of my 2005 9-5 ARC's had the larger snorkel on them. You can actually hear the turbo discharge valves operate with the larger inlet in use. Tuners wouldnt make you change to an open filter on stage 1 and 2 tunes but recommended for a stage 3.
Also if anyone wants to run an open filter and are worried about water getting into it you are able to use the factory air box as a splash shield! If you dont mind cutting it up on the top section then it makes a great improvised slash guard!

Nice!! Didn't know about this difference! Honestly love how the snorkel keeps the turbo noise down if you're keeping things quiet. More luxury/sleeper focus. Great video!
