Danny! Put the camera down when you need two hands. We don't mind. I'm sure most of us know what it takes to work on some of this stuff.
I replaced both rear regulators on my 85 300d, and both rear on my 01 e320 and the right front. My left rear broke again. I bought it from FCPEuro so has a lifetime warranty. I have a piece of wood holding the window up right now.
You should use a screwdriver or removal tool on those clips so you don't break anything and use two hands on the cover material. Now it will be noisier than before.
My 85 300d had the regulator bolted in but my 01 is riveted. What a pain in the ass.
Don't get in a hurry when working on delicate stuff like that.
