I have a 2003 Saab 9-3 2.0 turbo and I do appreciate its quickness however that is the only redeeming quality. The radio doesn’t work, the fuel gauge doesn’t work, and the transmission has some issues.

kamilpolniak says:

as stupid this makes me sound. i figured out that while cleaning the car i just turned the balance. you pull the power button and while holding it “pulled”, turn it left and right to balance the speakers left and right. if that doesnt help then your amp is messed up located under the drivers seat.

i also took the amp out, took it apart cleaned and repainted it.

how did you end up fixing this? im having the same problem

hey do you know if you look at the inside if the trunk, theres a carpeted cover with plastic black lil pop out bolts and on this inside on the left and right there are 2 hidden subs with 1 on each side. i just found out today in my 06 saab aero

androsoko says:

yes , its stops everythink expt tachometer

Hotmax3D says:

Does the amp1 stop the info display (SID) Saab 9-3 2004 from working also…?

Medingenas1 says:

Hey, yes I have removed the original ones and soldered in new ones because the connectors had some corrosion. I found some corrosion on the board too, so I have whipped/cleaned it with isopropyl alcohol, had to remove/unsolder and clean the board where the optic cable comes in. Unfortunately I did not make any images of the process. Before the repair the center and the door speakers did not work for me, but the front and back panel speakers worked.

numberonechi says:

Did you just remove and solder new PAL007A and PAL002A? What kind of cleaning was done? Was there any sound before this fix?

djhotrod83 says:

i just had the same problem, after i got the loopback connector, everything works fine and didnt take no time at all.the part was $12 plus shipping that brought it to 20 bucks. way better than $700-1100 for an amp

androsoko says:

i think its one of the amps failed !

kamilpolniak says:

hey only one side of the car works. would this be the same problem?

androsoko says:

First find witch amp is not working ! if the amp under the seat dosent work just remove the fiberoptic cable from the back of the amp and buy from the site etadyne.com the bypass adapter and follow the instructions! it is very very easy ! if you wanna help just sent me msg !

Medingenas1 says:

Mine radio was working, but the door speakers and center speaker did not. I have solved the problem by cleaning the AMP and replacing these schemes (PAL007A and PAL001A), now everything is OK. One thing by the way PAL001A was replaced to PAL002A, now the center speaker is a bit louder than usual, or maybe my hearing gone wild 🙂

androsoko says:

yes, the only speaker that dosnt work is the center speaker in the dash that is not so important

Medingenas1 says:

Will the speakers that are in the doors work after this bypass?
