Not sure if the debris from the mice are left over from the previous owner, but they do seek the warmth of the engine bay when cooler temps prevail. Get a squirt/spray bottle and fill with water and add generous amount of drops of peppermint essential oil and spray your engine area with it…gets rid of rodents ASAP, prolonging the wiring harnesses under the hood.

Great video, I am inspired to do this to my car. Do you know where that black and white wire ends up that comes from the Ecm down to below the engine somewhere, I see it's not something that gets covered by the sleeves?
