Bud if your battery is located on the left side of your car. You need to
run the power wire on the left. The rca and remote wire should be ran on
the right side.

wire through that hole on the outside of the grommet—dont think so–wont
be long before that fuse blows—power wire over engine–fuck it ,why not
wrap it around the exhaust just to make sure it melts

this video could have been shortened down to like 4 mins
you actually dont have to have your power wire on the same side as the
battery, yes its easier, but in some cars like my 93 honda accord its way
easier to poke the hole through the firewall on the oposite side of the
batter. You just dont run it down the middle over the engine, you can guide
it around the hood of your car and use ties to keep the wire in place!
Lots of crawling and bending my body did it for me. Together with lots of
cursing as well. I finally got it through the firewall when I taped it to
an already existing cable that went through the wall. Tape it tight to the
existing wire/cable and then pull them both through the wall together.
