I'm sorry but this is 99 of 100 times not the issue! Actually I've never seen those nuts ever get loose without me undoing them. The without question most common reason to a noisy GM (SAAB) door stop is the wear the steel rivet makes on the plastic arm. The wear turns the hole oval instead of round. When a small play is created, each time you open the door you'll hear two distinctive 'clicks'. If you remove the door stop from the car, you'll first notice GM stamps everywhere and "Patent Pending" (good luck on that one GM, total crap design) and then you'll notice nothing seems to be wrong until you investigate that small play the rivet has created. That is the source of the sound. You'll se the culprit at 0:25 to the left. Good luck and keep SAABing.
