Hi stuart, Did you have any issues with the head unit sitting flush with the bezel?. I have bought the recomended kits and xtron head unit but it sits an inch into the bezel any advise would be great thanks.
Hey, I have been looking for an aftermarket stereo for a while, but some shops says my steroe can’t be replaced because of the Bose sound system. I have a 2008 Aero SS, with Bose and navi. Is it correct that it can’t be replaced? Another question, will all 2din stereos fit in a 2din frame made for the 9-3? I have been looking at the Sony XAV-AX5500
Great Video. I bough my "new" saab 9-3 2009 2.0. Do you know if the newer version TQS700L also work for the saab because of the newer android 10 version with the adapter? And do you know any other seller outside of the uk? thank you in advanced

For the newer Xtron units: The "AMP" wire is not recogniazable as such. Actually it's the blue/white wire with the transparent plug. Took me quite some time to track it down in thecomments. So now it's a bit more at the top.
No connection to the 12V means NO SOUND.
does all the flash signals belt parking sensoes sound works ?= .>)
Would this work if you replace a ICM1 from a 2005 covert.?
Will this work in a 9-3 Vector, even if it has the optical cables?

What wire do you have to connect for steering wheel controls i have a few loops that can be cut or key 2 5v on the extrons unit I can't seem to make them work

Hi Stu, help a fellow flat lander out. I've installed this very unit in my 2006 9-3 and the hum from the lack of earthing is terrible. Any ideas how I can get around this?

I had a few questions about things I've been reading online, the first one being that replacing the radio causes the warning sounds/chime noises to stop working, is there no way of avoiding it or does using the canbus decoder solve that? The other thing was that apparently the Bose speakers draw a lot of power and can cause heat damage to the radio, is that a real problem? I don't particularly want to replace all the speakers.

Heya, ive got a sony wx 800ui. Just a basic double din stereo. It looks like it has half the wires the stock one has whats the best way to go about this to get it with the steering wheel volume controls etc??
Will this connect2 harness work for a 2006 9-3 model too?
I meant to ask you, if cage and facia will work for any double din aftermarket radio?
