Great! Thank you. When it have to change the rotors?

Hellbent706 says:

Ok, I'm gonna give it a shot. I changed my own oil and reset the computer myself for $80. Porsche charges about $350 for an oil change. I got a Porsche Panamera Turbo because it was one of my dream cars that I've always wanted and the opportunity became available, NOT because I'm rich. But I am resourceful. I also have the patience and the skills to get it without paying the ridiculous prices they try to get out of you. I do most of my own maintenance simply by researching then doing. Therefore most people pay 5X's what I pay and mine still looks new and in great shape and I don't go broke but it is a lot of hard work. it's very satisfying and worth the effort. They charge around $3K to do a front brake job or what you just did for a fraction of that.  Which type and brand of brake pads did you use? Do you know of a true ceramic aftermarket pair that will wear itself out before the rotors?because it is much cheaper to replace the pads more often than it is to replace those very expensive rotors even once. I don't think the rotors can be turned either so I want to stay away from hard pads that will wear into the rotors. Are the rear pads just as easy to change as the front? Will you do a video of the rear procedure too? Did you have to replace the Porsche 970 352 959 00 Rear disk brake retaining clips? It seems like the rear pads don't come with the retaining clip and they cost $56 each on Amazon. Thanks for the great video. It was very helpful.
