Common failure points include the car having ignition power, but when the key is turned, the vehicle does not crank and loses power. Another failure point is the actual plastic that does not allow the key to return to ignition power after cranking. Following this guide, you will be able to effectively fix your ignition switch.

One piece of advice I've gotten is when unscrewing the steering wheel, make sure the wrench is on the left side of the column so that when the 24mm nut comes loose, the wrench doesn't suddenly crash into the windshield, but rather into your legs, so you don't risk damaging the windshield
