Replacing your brake pads is one of the easiest jobs to perform if you know the steps. In general, you should inspect your brake pads about every 10,000 miles, and replace them if the material lining of the pad is worn down enough to trigger the pad replacement sensor. We walk you through brake pad replacement on a (YEAR) Porsche Cayman in our brand new DIY video that takes you through every step of the process so that you’ll have the confidence to do it yourself. This particular video can be used for 2006-2012 Porsche Caymans, 2005-2012 Porsche Boxsters and 2005-2012 Porsche 997 Carreras. This was a very good and informative video. Thank you and hope to see more covering other Cayman DIY items.
Nicely done video. Much appreciated.
Great Video. Now I would like to see how to do a coolant flush on a 987.2 (2010 boxster).
Yeah, but what about the rear brake pad dampers? Those are much different, from what I've read. How do you line those up?
