1973 Porsche 911 Targa Build Series//Part 5- valve adjustment and prep for assembly

1973 Porsche 911 Targa Build Series//Part 5- valve adjustment and prep for assembly

In this video, the engine gets a valve adjustment, new bushings are pressed in, suspension parts get painted, and the last bit of work is done before putting it all back together.

If you’re new to the channel, this is all for my 1973 Porsche 911 Targa. Since I’m a genius, I decided to purchase a Targa race car and convert it back to a street car. Why would I buy a car thats ready to drive and enjoy when I could spend more money on a car that needs so much? The answer is somewhere between too much brake cleaner and being smothered as a child.

Part of the reason I bought this car was to learn to do metal work, but I quickly realized that metal work is a nightmare. Props to anyone doing it at home, I don’t have the patience or skill. This is phone a metal shop and call in friend help when possible restoration series. Hope you enjoy my pain!

That motor looks great on the stand, but it’s going to look better in the car

good work! was anything wrong w/ the old OC? does the CSF out-spec it? {maybe just me… soundtrack distracts from commentary}
