Hello, the Threads are normal on the Vibe. Just get an breaker bar and socket, they are on good. Breaker bar gives you more leverage. Good Luck, RA
I was working on a toyota celica 2003 with same tensioner but the only thing is that i couldnt get that main bolt loose I tried vise grips ,open end wrench but had trouble. eventually just gave up.was it easy for u to loosen?? and what did u use.and is that bolt regular thread or reverse thread? please reply thank you
