I will let you know how it goes.

As people have stated below, this mod will glare on coming traffic. You can see that in the light comparison at the end of the video. The Halogen has a decent cutoff that runs down the hedges about 3ft up and continues all the way down the road. The HID immediately rises at about a 30 degree angle upwards as seen on the fence, and it looks like about 100 to 150 ft down the road the intense part of the beam pattern is above the hedge and fence and would be right in the eyes of oncoming traffic. Please do not do this mod.

What about the high beams???

Command37 says:

This is good but also bad. Good in the sense that it's HID but also bad because the HID light is, at best, diffused by the prismed, fluted lenses. HID light needs to be focused and controlled with projector lenses and furthermore low beam and high beam controlled with an internal solenoid that raises and lowers a flap, which provides a cut-off line for the light to be lowered below the vision of on-coming traffic so as not to blind everybody and encourage law makers to outlaw modified headlights all together. It's up to us to keep that from happening by correctly and thoroughly modifying headlights with bi-xenon projector lenses.

Michael Shepard says:

Where did you order the kit for this? Wanting to do the same for my 98.

Jason Stewart says:

Good job thank you show do that now

Bert Nava says:

what size head lights where the conversions

Chris Paveglio says:

Putting HID's in a halogen housing is a bad idea. They probably have LOTS of glare to oncoming traffic, because the dispersion pattern is not controlled or focussed properly. HIDs should only be installed in projector housings. You can see in your "after" picture how high the light is – way into the trees. The old stock lights don't go way up into the trees.

Bill Anderson says:

Where did you get the conversion housings from ??
