The padding that came with the new mirror was a little too thick to install so I just removed it. Hoping that doesn't come back to bite me. So far so good!
Thanks for the video – repair was an easy 20-minute job including clean-up and adjusting the new mirror! Replacement mirror compared favorably in fit and finish to the factory unit it replaced!
Hello . I have a Pontiac sunfire and I order the same piece but the mirror wasn’t installed into the item . It was separate and there are no instructions as to how to place the mirror inside the item . I hope I’m making sense
mine busted in 2 pieces, has a spring, where does the spring go?

I have power mirrors, do you have a video on how to replace those? Not sure if the replacement will be power or manual yet.

Thanks. I did my mirror after I knocked it off in winter storm Nemo's humongous snow banks that still persist in my driveway. The only thing I did different was I duct- taped underneath the bolts so there was no way I could accidentally drop them inside the door. I would've surely done so with the harder-to-reach bolt of the three.
