Matrix. Thanks.

Random question did the 2003 Matrix stock radio have output for external CD
changer?

Eugene M says:

From memory…. I don’t think so, it was pretty barebone with ridiculously
cheap paint. The stock stereo can hold 6 cds, I would recommend that you
copy your cds as mine are stuck in the stereo. I’ll be more than happy to
send you a picture of the stock stereo outputs. An alternative would be to
rip all those CDs of yours via Media Monkey or even WMP and put them on to
an ipod, MP3 player, or even your phone. Then attach your ipod/MP3
player/phone to a FM transmitter.

Brian Mathis says:

I ask because if the stock radio as the external CD changer port I can
connect an AUX line into the back instead of use an FM transmitter. But
since you removed the stereo I didn’t want to have to go through the hastle
myself. Some other forums also confirmed that. Thanks!

Eugene M says:

As a side note. The purchase of a Mounting Kit is NEVER NECESSARY. Your old
stereo that you are replacing with the new one, has mounts that can be
taken off and transferred on to your new stereo. For the gaps on the side,
you can use something called custom stereo forming panels. They are more
than 50% cheaper.
