how to remove the rear panel of an 97 s10 truck so i can replace my
speakers?? or at least tell me how lol

littlechrist1 says:

Johnnysshop says:

@spadedmfkr Wish I had a GP to do it on 🙁

Johnnysshop says:

@knotdrummer88 Thanks for the feedback! I wish I could make that video but
it is a royal pain in the ass the remove and install a headliner. I mean
like hours of work basically…

Johnnysshop says:

Thanks, I appreciate it!

MPGJERJERJER says:

OMG THANKS i couldnt figure out how to get of the lil lock thing to replace
my windows x fram whoof!

Johnnysshop says:

@Comrick317 Thanks and will do!

Johnnysshop says:

You’d have to remove the door panel, unbolt the window from the regulator
and slowly pull the window out for access to replace the regulator.

Johnnysshop says:

@2035reprezent Well it does happen. If I were “stuck” on this one I would
have came back and had the clip already out. But yes, I think it’s happened
about 3 times and I have used the battery excuse once… 🙂 Just not on
this one.

Johnnysshop says:

@Jerrico71 Thanks for watching, glad I could help!

Johnnysshop says:

@littlechrist1 Thanks! Wish I could but I don’t have one laying around..
LOL.. I believe you need to remove the top pilar panels and possibly some
clips near the top below the rear window. Haven’t done one but I do kinda
remember what it looks like. Just a guess though….

Roy Oni says:

@Johnnysshop, yea they are rivited, i couldnt be bothered so i go them
installed, cost me $60 for labour…. too much? oh well. Keep up the
helpful vids mate.

Johnnysshop says:

@2035reprezent Thanks! Are they rivited in there?

Patrick Brooks says:

@Johnnysshop thank you i got it…never would of figured it out….thanks
again

Johnnysshop says:

@2035reprezent That stinks. I hate it when they do that crap. Have to break
out the drill bits just to take a speaker out. Thanks!

ChickenTyler59 says:

Thanks you so much , I have been looking for a how to on this for three
days and couldnt find a good one. I need to replace the speaker in my door

Omg I need a 97 Pontiac Grand Prix Door Removal, along with how to access
the back speakers there all blow almost and there getting annoying!! Please
post a video man! Thanks

Johnnysshop says:

@ToXiCvEliXiR Yeah, pretty much the same procedure

Roy Oni says:

very strange how every time you get stuck your camera “shuts off”, ir the
battery dies…

KcDay says:

So what do I do if my window has fallen off the track and is now stuck
inside the door?

Roy Oni says:

@Johnnysshop nice video non the less. but i have a toyota echo and i took
off the door pannel but the speakers are like nailed in there, i cant take
them out for shit. they are stock speakers… any ideas.

David Heale says:

I wish I saw this before attempting taking the door off my 93 Grand Am SE
Coupe…

Johnnysshop says:

Thanks for watching. It’s important to keep the ladies happy!

Johnnysshop says:

@dilira15 Pretty similar really. Usually a little easier.

Jerrico71 says:

Wow man! I can’t thank you enough for doing this video! The example inthe
Haynes manual that covers the year of my car in its years covered range is
generic and shows the door panel of the older models; completely different
design. I was able to figure everything out except the screws in the door
handle area. It was driving me nuts! You’ve saved my day…thank you
sincerely! May all good things come your way!!!!

knotdrummer88 says:

@Johnnysshop ah damn, but oh well. thanks for getting back to me man thats
awsome! thanks anyway!

JustinTheJMan says:

Thanks to this video is took me maybe an hour to get both front speakers
replaced as well as the 6×9’s in back. Lady friend is happy and I got it
done quick so I’m happy, thanks for the video!

Johnnysshop says:

@merlin46001 Should be about the same way. If I had a 2001 here I’d make a
video of it 🙁

Johnnysshop says:

Thanks for watching. Yeah, it was a bit shaky.

UsMarineObserver says:

Great info because I have the same model and needed to get the panel off.
Video was pretty shaky though. Thanks

knotdrummer88 says:
