Thank you for the information that you provide to us through your distinguished channel. I would like you a favor, please. I have a 1998 Jeep Cherokee XJ and I would like to know about canceling the main fuel pump from the fuel tank and replacing it with other types that are installed outside for easy disassembly and installation. Waiting for your technical directions. Greetings.

i do love these videos but i went with the "cut a hole under the back seat bench" technique and lo and behold my car is the stupid CA emissions one. theres no end in sight for the work im trying to do

Team Anderson bass says:

Almost. Almost had it all but you forgot the importance of changing the fuel filter to avoid voiding the warranty on the pump

Ethan Price says:

I have a 2009 chevy Cobalt LT 2.2 liter I live in New Jersey,I got the car from brother who got it new in Pennsylvania. This car turned out to be a California car having CA. emissions set up and a whole different fuel set up.Filter is located inside the tank, there is no fuel pump cartr as 90% cobalts in the of the country. This car has 90% of it's running on hyway. The the fuel level sensor failed so the fix was to drop the tank replace the fuel level sensor. So has 199,456 miles on it.I also replaced the fuel pump with the OEM replacement.Did the whole dance put fuel back in it.Ture key on and off 4 times hearing pump run a short time.I then went to start engine. It did but stalled, tryed again it ran for less then 1minute I heard a pop back at the right rear, car shut off.I tryed starting again and a gain no fire at all.I then checked the schrader valve for fuel nothing. But still hear the pump come on when key is turned on(only a short time)Any ideas ????????
