sorry for the late response. I got a puller/installer at advance auto
parts. I used an impact wrench to remove the nut off of the pulley. I also
removed the cover on the flex plate to hold the ring gear to keep the
pulley from moving. The longest and most tense part was removing the pulley
with the puller, and installing the new one. But you definitely need the
installer/puller, otherwise you will be breaking something. Hope this helps.
is the bolt holding the harmonic balancer on reverse threaded or threaded
normally?
