Nice tutorial video! My bf does my brakes and I help him. I think there is
something else wrong with my wheels/joints that make my car eat brake pads.
Anyhow, I was wondering if you know what the metal pieces are for that come
with the brake pads? We’ve never used them. It didn’t seem like we needed
to and I didn’t see any in your video. Adapter for another car? I have a
2000 Grand AM. Replacing the front pads, rotors and caliper brackets this
time. Pass bracket was shifting. Thanks!
@winterzwolf1 Thanks!
@brucekirk89 Stepson! I’m not old enough for a son-in-law! Not really old
enough to have a stepson driving, my wife is a little older than me. LOL
@00a00s00d00f00 Thanks, I appreciate the positive feedback!
Do you have a video on how to replace the back brakes?
Thanks man!
@nekrthaftis Awesome! Glad I could help.
thank you so much for this video. I had no idea why my new pads wouldent
fit over the new rotors. Fantasitc Job Johnny.
Awesome, glad I could help!
@Mart5fam I’m just using some Yamalube here. LOL.. I’ve used regular
bearing grease as well.
@goatboy150 Thanks and good luck!
@mj23sweet Thanks, glad I could help!
Thanks a Million. Great Job!
@pleal1 Not hard but you have the bleed the brakes. Are you talking the
rubber hoses or your hard lines? Thanks for watching!
Fack! I wish i had a garage in my back yard to do all this!
You, sir, are the MAN. I was all worried about having to do this. Thanks
for the fantastic tutorial!
@nekrthaftis Cool, let me know how it goes!
Thanks, I appreciate the feedback! Good luck!
@Joe1998dodge Should be. I just changed the rear brakes on my Aunts 95 SL
and it was a breeze…
Very nice tutorial! Love it! 🙂 Next to Car Talk, you’re my new source for
car info. Looks pretty simple. Gonna try to change my front brakes and pads
next weekend. What happened is there are patches of deep erosion throughout
the rotors and every time I brake, the car jitters and the wheel shakes a
bit. I think it’s because of the pads aren’t rubbing up against a solid
rotor surface–it seems to skip every time the erosion patches come
around…I think. Ever heard of that?
I do it on road side, there is no excuse for not doing your own work.
Thank you sir. I used your video to teach my 14 year old son how to change
my brakes 😉 With my supervision of course.
Thanks, Bless your Heart. I’m having problem with my 05 camry shaking when
I brake @45mph. Total miles 68k. Thanks for the similar idea. Have a good
one 🙂
great videos! ty very much save us all some money and in these tough times
thats big!! should i go ahead and open the master cylinder in case the
brake fluid is full?
Are the brake hoses pretty simple to replace? My 93 chevy 4×4 needs this
done and a COMPLETE brake job! Thanks again for this video and your time!!
thank you for this i changed my 1997 grand am front brakes and it hepled me
alot and saved me money
@pleal1 No 🙁 If you have rear discs, it’s the same.
i get it now, the spin should push the pin away not pull it in…thanks
again
thank you so much for this video. I had no idea why my new pads wouldent

What type of grease or what is the name of that grease you used on the pins?
very nice tutorial! Wonderful content and quality. Thank you so much for
the help.
Hey great video! Quick question. Do you know if that would be a similar set
up for brakes for a 2001 saturn L series? Or if anyone else may know, could
you please e-mail me through here? Thanks!
@IKEEICHOLTZ Thanks for the positive feedback. Glad I could help!
